"The former toy and graphic designers Mandy Colliss and David Quinton stenciled a mural in their daughter Daisy's bedroom last year after being struck by he lack of uncheesy wallpapers available for kids. The groovy, non-schmaltzy results appealed to adults and children alike and their mural design company, Funky Little Darlings, was born. "Parents send ideas and photos of their children and we create a bespoke picture," says Colliss. "We often add characters, based on the child, within the picture. They get so excited when they find their likeness." Colliss's graphic style echoes the new trend for super-cute street art, epitomised by French artist Fafi (who animated Lily Allen in Mark Ronson's Oh My God video) - you'll think the murals are as cool as your kids do.
